Adedapo Adetosoye was busy this summer turning his hard work into scholarships.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Class of 2026 offensive lineman from Katy High School spent months putting his size, athleticism, and length on display at camps across Texas, turning those showings into offers from Incarnate Word, Lamar, and Northwestern State.
“This summer I spent a lot of time putting myself out there in front of coaches I’d been talking to all spring,” Adetosoye said. “I’d say my biggest attribute is my length and my athleticism.”
From Texas State to Texas Tech, North Texas to Houston and Rice, Adetosoye made sure his name and blocking left an impression.
He describes himself as a patient, rangy lineman who uses his long arms to strike before defenders can.
“What separates me the most has got to be my ability in pass protection,” Adetosoye said. “With my long arms and active hands, I’m definitely a guy you want when it comes to that.”
While all three of his current offers remain in play, but Northwestern State has shown the most consistent interest.
“Right now, I would say Northwestern State is giving me a bunch of attention,” he said. “We’ll see how things progress during the season.”
Adetosoye plans to visit the schools that have offered and expects more game-day invites soon but a decision could come quickly after.
“I would say I want to commit sometime in September or October, preferably,” he admitted.
